UI Principles (Conditional — Read Only When Task Touches UI)

Use a canvas/report only when the output is a standalone artifact (metrics, audit, multi-row tables, trends). Drafts, fixes, and targeted debugging stay in chat.

Flat and minimal: no gradients, no emoji icons, no box-shadows, no card walls, no rainbow colors, no oversized type. One focal point per view.

Every plot is self-describing: specific metric title, both axes with units, legend with source series names, source + time range caption, transform noted (mean/p95/normalized).
